Kindergarten through high school

In New Brunswick, children receive public education beginning in kindergarten and continuing through to Grade 12. Schooling is offered in English and French, beginning in elementary school. Children are required to attend school between the age of five and graduation, or at age 18, whichever is earlier. Homeschooling is also allowed.

The province is divided into 14 school districts by area. To enrol your children in school, you will need to check with your local school district office.
